6-(p-Toluidino)-2-napthalenesulfonic acid, potassium salt is an organic compound with the chemical formula C16H15NO3S. It is a white or almost white crystalline powder with strong fluorescence.
This compound is commonly used in fluorescent dyes, fluorescent labeling agents, biological fluorescent probes and oxamide Ester mordant fluorescent agents. It is often used in biomedical research for fluorescence microscopy imaging, cell labeling and protein detection.
The preparation method of 6-(p-Toluidino)-2-napthalenesulfonic acid, potassiumsalt is generally through the reaction of 2-amino -6-naphthalenesulfonic acid and p-toluidine, and then reacted with potassium carbonate to obtain the target product.
